Anadi MahaMuktraj Bapashri was born in Halvad, a small town in the Surendranagar district of Gujarat State, India. In the Hindu Almanac Vikram Samvat 1953, a series of profound mystical spiritual experiences transpired in Halvad and subsequently in Dholka, both towns in Gujarat State. These experiences, spanning over three and a half months, included individuals entering trances, witnessing oceans of divine light, experiencing showers of flowers and sandal drops, among other extraordinary occurrences. Younger individuals served as mediums for great souls like Gopalanand and Vasudevanand Swami, who recited Vedic rhymes and devotional poems. Shriji Maharaj himself made an appearance and proclaimed that three Anadi MahaMukts had taken human form to guide seekers towards spiritual salvation. Shriji identified them as Abji Bhagat of Kutch, Swami Haricharandasji of Charadwa, and Jatashankarbhai (Jatashankar Bapashri) of Halvad. Shriji Maharaj conveyed that serving them equates to serving him, pleasing them provokes his pleasure, and they are present to grant salvation.
